In my time at West Virginia I have had numerous teaching opportunities.  I have had full instructor duties for 3 courses, all principles of micro or macro.  
My teaching philosophy begins with the assumption that my course will be the only course most students take in the field of economics.  I try to instill the core concepts of opportunity cost and thinking on the margin for my students to take and apply beyond the classroom.  Instead of teaching principles of economics as an introductory course to the first of many economics classes, I approach it as the first and last.  I believe teaching introductory economics courses like it is the only course students will take is much more likely to inspire it to be the first of many.  
Additionally I have been a teaching assistant for the graduate micro theory II course.  I have also served as a TA for several large lecture courses.
